How it works

    Add the badge

    Paste the HTML or Markdown anywhere on your site — footer, about page, docs, or the README of your repository. A plain text link to your listing counts just the same; the badge is simply the quickest way.

    Tell us

    Submitting a new bot? Tick "I've added a link" on the last step of the form. Already listed? Email oreonairu@gmail.com with the bot's name and the page the link is on.

  3. 03

    Get verified

    We open the page, confirm the link, and switch on Verified Partner for your listing — usually within 24 hours. If the link disappears later, the mark comes off at the next check.

A followed link

Outbound links on POLBOTS are nofollow by default. Partner listings link to your site with a followed link.

Ground rules

  • The badge has to link to polbots.com — your listing or the homepage. A badge without a link, or one that links somewhere else, doesn't count.
  • Resize it if you need to, but don't redraw it: keep the colours and the wording.
  • One badge per site is plenty. Putting it on every page earns nothing extra.
  • Nothing here is for sale. Listing, badge and verification are free, and they stay free.

Frequently asked questions

Does a plain text link count?
Yes. "Listed on POLBOTS" with a link to your listing works exactly like the badge. The badge is just easier to paste and harder to miss.
Which page should it link to?
Your own listing page. That is where readers land on your bot instead of the homepage, and it is the page we check for the link.
Can I put it in a GitHub README?
Yes — use the Markdown snippet. If the repository is your bot's home, that is where we will look for it.
I'm not listed yet.
Submit the bot first — listing is free. Tick the backlink box in the form, or add the badge once you are live; until you have a listing URL, link it to the homepage.
What if I remove the link later?
The Verified Partner mark comes off at the next check and the link from your listing goes back to nofollow. Nothing else changes — the listing stays.
